JUNE 25 Isle of MTV Annual free concert organised by MTV at the Granaries, Floriana and featuring internationally-renowned artists. Line-up for this year will be headlined by popular British hip- hop artist Dizzee Rascal, Nicole Scherzinger and Enrique Iglesias, who will be joined by American electro-pop singer Kiesza and DJ Hardwell. is year's edition of the concert will also incorporate local acts as part of a 'Battle of the Bands' competition. PUBLIC TALKS JUNE 19 Painters and Photographers: Caroline Tonna Lecture about how the evolution of photography influenced the further development of painting, by Caroline Tonna, held at the Malta Maritime Museum, Birgu at 19:00. In particular, the lecture will look at two case-studies: firstly, the collaboration between the painter Giuseppe Calì (1846-1930) and the photographers Ugo Calì (1878-?) and Richard Ellis (1842-1924); and secondly, the collaboration of the painters Edward Caruana Dingli (1876-1950) and Robert Caruana Dingli (1882-1940) with photographer Richard Ellis (1842- 1924).
