Jose' Herrera, in his first of- ficial visit to the company since his new appointment as Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Growth. Herrera was introduced to Malt- co's Directors and staff and was given a detailed explanation, on how the company operates. Ioan- nis Katakis, C.E.O of Maltco Lot- teries explained that the company has gone through very big changes throughout the years. "The good thing about Maltco Lotteries is that we are never reluc- tant to take new challenges, we take them and we succeed", commented Katakis. He said that over the past years the company has invested more than 70 million in its operations, thus offering its players a state of the art technology, legal gaming and a pleasant environment where players can play responsibly. Herrera said that the Government is committed to bring further de- velopments by seeking more mar- kets to increase the potential of the gaming industry. "We are very supportive of en- trepreneurs who invest through innovation, as Maltco did over the years," commented Herrera.
