Juventus won their 30th Serie A title in 2014. Juventus
have stamped their authority as Italy's most powerful
club as they have been defending the title since 2011.

victory as they defeated Fiorentina, 3-1.
Napoli defeated Juventus to lift the 2014 Italian Super Cup. Both teams
played to a 2-2 draw. Napoli went on to defeat Juventus 6-5 after a penalty
shoot-out. The last time Napoli lifted the Italian Super Cup was in 1990
Astana rider Vincenzo Nibali restored one of the sport's traditional powerhouses
to top spot by becoming first Italian winner since Marco Pantani in 1998
