Andrew Naudi (25*), David Marks (32) and captain Mark Sacco (26) kept the momentum going throughout the innings as Mar- sa finished their allotted 25 overs on the impressive total of 168 runs. For Melita, Zubair Raja (3 for 20) and Paul Bra- dley (2 for 23) were the major wicket-takers, while Bikram Arora completed 2 catches and a run out. Melita's chase of 169 started with Garrett Kampff and Bikram Arora falling early to the bowling of David Marks. Wickets fell at regular intervals but the 2015 Player of the Year, Haroon Majeed held the innings together in his typical attacking style. Joy Ghoseroy struck a quick-fire 21 runs before he was well stumped by Aquilina off the bowling of Khosla. Majeed re-joined Paul Bradley with 13 runs required off the final over. The result went to the very last ball and Bradley obliged for Melita scoring the 2 runs required for victory. For Marsa, Andrew Naudi and David Marks captured 2 wickets apiece. Melita CC 169 for 9 (H.Majeed 52; A.Naudi 2 for 22) beat Marsa CC 168 for 9 (D.Marks 32; Z.Raja 3 for 20) by 1 wicket. Umpires: John Grima & Pierre Naudi; Scorer: Eric Balakrishnan.
