22 maltatoday, Wednesday, 10 February 2016 Sport motorsports Gozo Motorcross Fun Race Gozo Motocross Association would like to an- nounce a FUN RACE Event, next Sunday 14th February 2016. From time to time, Gozo Motocross Associa- tion organises FUN RACE Events that are just as interesting and challenging as those that partake the Gozo Motocross Championship. Although the points given at the races do not contribute to- wards the Championship, the riders race against each other in Class A, B, and C. The points of the day mark three winners in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of each category. The event is sponsored by Jonathan Attard @ High Revs Motorcylce. The winners will be awarded a trophy each. The event will take place at Ta' Xhajma Moto- cross Track. Races start at 1:00pm For more infromation please find us on our f b page - gozomotocrossassociation Next AsmK Enduro at Fawwara on sunday oN Sunday 14 February 2016 Assocjazz- joni Sport Muturi u Karozzi is to continue the motorsport activities with an Enduro motorcycle race. ASMK will be organiz- ing the fourth event of the ASMK Pasta Poiatti National Enduro championship for 2015/2016. This event will be held in a Quarry in Fawwara the limits of Sig- giewi. The Association wishes to thank the quarry owners Schembri Barbro and Polidano Group as this event is held in their premises. It is worth noting too that this event is supported by the firm Dunlop Tyres of Malta. Any Enduro enthusiast who is interested in participating but never took part in such an activity can make contact with Eddie Bonello Mob. 77003722 or 9942 5489 Mob Johann Pace to be informed about what to do to participate. The competitors are in- formed that the registration opens at 9: 00 am while the event starts at 10: 00am. ASMK organises a demonstration run for all riders by a group leader and two timed runs for each competitor. These times count for class titles and overall Winner and Runner-up. overview Classification after three En- duro events we find that Matthew Gauci on a Honda motorcycle with three victo- ries and obviously is occupying first place and is at the top of the classification. Gauci is followed by Scicluna brothers. Joseph Scicluna on a KTM is in second place with 39 points followed by very close by his brother Ian Scicluna on KTM in third position with 37 points. The ranking con- tinues with Trials biker Bernard Sammut on a KTM who occupies fourth place with 28 points while in fifth place overall we find Alex Sant Fournier on a KTM motor- cycle with 26 points. Sixth place is won by Victor Bajada on a KTM motorcycle with 25 points. All Enduro Class and personal placings is available on the Association website. Meanwhile the Association notifies the activities for the rest of the month of Feb- ruary are as follows:- Enduro race at Faw- wara Quarry on Sunday 14th while on Sat- urday 20th February 2016 the Association is organizing a Dinner / Presentation for the 2014/15 ASMK Champions. on Sun- day 27th February the Association will be organizing another Autocross and Moto- cross events also with Gozo participation.
