With artists and local as well as international thinkers, the pub- lic will participate in a collec- tive effort to design a utopia, an alternative society for a better future. The upcoming edition, The Utopian Nights on Com- mons, takes place on the 23rd and the 24th of November at the Chinese Garden of Serenity in Santa Lucia. DECEMBER 7-8 Jimmy Carr Live in Malta Jimmy Carr is bringing 'The Best Of, Ultimate, Gold, Great- est Hits World Tour' to Malta on the 7th and 8th of December! Back then, millions around the world followed The Beatles through radio shows TV appearances. The band sold millions of re- cords and albums around the globe at a time when the inter- net wasn't even a dream. Till this very day, songs by The Bea- tles are played over a million times a day. Like...The Beatles will feature one of the most exciting official Beatles tribute bands around. The concert will be held at one of Malta's finest indoor theatres – The Medi- terranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta on the 8th and 9th of December 2018. At the christening of Prin- cess Aurora, Maleficent, the evil Fairy, casts a spell on the baby princess. Eighteen years pass and the spell puts Aurora to sleep. Prince Charming with the help of Dame Nanna Kola and Muddles fights Maleficent and her whole army to break the evil spell and rid the land of the evil Fairy once and for all. Sleeping Beauty is a rip roar- ing tale that will take the audi- ence, young and old, from one adventure to another, with side splitting gags, laugh out loud slapstick, chases and good old "good versus evil". The panto will be held at the Manoel Theatre from 23 De- cember to 6 January. 23 DECEMBER – 5 JANUARY Jack and the Beanstalk – The Panto All his life young Jack has only ever had one dream - to become a famous knight. One day, his village is attacked by giants who take away the girl he loves - presumably to eat her.
