So what is Apotheosis about? It is about a fictional character, a female Maltese prime minister and she speaks about the struggles women go through to achieve power. I do not think it is just about the struggle in Malta only. Women are still struggling to break that glass ceiling. It is also a reflection on local state of affairs as seen by the playwright John Baraldi. What advice would you give to anyone interesting in acting in Malta? Do it for the love and passion. It is hard work, you do not do it just for the applause. You do it to expand your experience as an artist. So be aware of the discipline it takes. With that frame of mind, you would be ready to do all it takes to make it happen. We have a lot of opportunities in Malta.
