This is a free ticketed event (limited seating), tick- ets will be available at www. ticketline.com.mt UNTIL AUGUST 31 Exploring The Phoenician Shipwreck off Xlendi Exploring the Phoenician Shipwreck off Xlendi, Gozo is the latest Heritage Malta exhibition.The exhibition fo- cuses on the discovery of a Phoenician shipwreck which dates back to 700 BC. Discov- ered off Xlendi in 2007, at a depth of 110m, this intriguing ancient vessel has attracted worldwide attention since it is the oldest wreck ever found so far in this region. The exhibi- tion was officially inaugurat- ed by Justyne Caruana, Min- ister of Gozo, Anton Refalo, Chairman of Heritage Malta, and Timmy Gambin, Head of Heritage Malta's Underwa- ter Cultural Heritage Unit, at the Gozo Area Office at the Ċittadella. The public will be able to visit this exhibition until the 31st August 2019. Festivals UNTIL AUGUST 3 Farsons Beer Festival The Farsons Beer Festival is one of Malta's hottest summer celebrations. Running over 10 days, this year from Thurs- day 25th July to Saturday 3rd August, this summer outdoor festival brings together the best local music, beer and entertainment at Ta' Qali Na- tional Park. As one of Malta's most awaited summer annual events, drawing thousands of festival goers every night, the festival will once again feature no less than 50 local and international award-win- ning beers, over 50 local art- ists and performances, and a food court offering a diverse choice of food AUGUST 2-3 Antonin Under the Stars Once again this year Marso- vin will be holding a unique wine event in their pictur- esque estate- Ramla Valley Estate, Gozo. The event will bear the name of Antonin Un- der The Stars, a name which takes after the award winning wine Antonin Blanc, made from grapes grown from the very same estate. The event falls part of a series of celebra- tions the winery has organised this year to commemorate its 100th anniversary milestone. AUGUST 9 The Great Vegan & Vegetarian Event A celebration of vegetarian and vegan dishes spread be- tween different themed stalls. All of the stalls will include Vegan, vegetarian, Gluten Free and No Refined Sugar Options… This is a stand up event however there will be free seating available on the beach and terraces. SEAT- ING will be on first come first serve basis. A Mojitos bar and a Fresh Juice bar will be available serving a good variety of mojitos and juic- es. Music UNTIL 4 SEPTEMBER Ginn Jazz Nights Following three successful editions, Glitch Festival is coming back on the 14-16 August with it's fourth and biggest edition to date at Gianpula Village. Electronic music enthusiast from all over the world are once again called to gather at the gates of the mystical House- and-Techno fortress for a sonic adventure on the sun- drenched Mediterranean island of Malta. AUGUST 24 Joseph Calleja Concert The island's annual staple Joseph Calleja concert and national spectacle will take place on the 24th August at the Granaries in Floriana. Home- grown leading and grammy- nominated lyric tenor Joseph Calleja will once again join musical forces with World renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli, famed for having one of the most beautiful voices on the planet. To date, the Italian household name has recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas, selling over. Tickets for the show are available from www.showshappening.com AUGUST 14-16 Glitch Festival Glitch Festival returns on the 14th, 15th & 16th of August 2019 where music enthusiasts from all over the world are called to gather at the gates of the mystical House-and- Techno fortress. The Festival will be held at Gianpula Village, framed against the iconic skyline of Malta's fortified city, Mdina followed by the perfect sun-soaked boat-party finale. Glitch Festival
