Mobile No. 7953 THE Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has recently established a da- ta-sharing agreement with the Slo- vak Football Association. The Slovak Football Association is the governing body of football in Slo- vakia and is one of the largest organ- isations in Slovakia with more than 400,000 members. The MGA's Sports Integrity Man- ager, Antonio Zerafa said that the agreement with the Slovak Football Association joined a continuously growing list of data-sharing agree- ments with international partners from the sporting world. "We are proud that through such agreements we are placing our- selves as an important contributor to match-fixing investigations across the globe, and we hope that we can now provide the same level of assis- tance to the Slovak FA also," he said. Jakub Čavoj, Integrity Officer of the Slovak Football Association said he hoped the agreement would be very useful for both sides and help them protecting the integrity of sport competitions. "For the Slovak FA and police inves- tigations this exchange of informa- tion could be important in collect- ing evidence because many betting companies popular in Slovakia have a Malta gambling license." he said. "Sharing best practice and ex- change of information is key in the fight against match-fixing." This agreement will facilitate the sharing of information between the two parties, in fulfillment of the re- quirements at law.
