'NOT guilty'. This is what Joseph Muscat, Konrad
Mizzi and Keith Schembri pleaded in court after the
lengthy list of charges linked to the Vitals hospitals
deal was read out to them.
In an unprecedented case, the trio were charged
with corruption, bribery, fraud, money laundering
and conspiracy to form a criminal group.
This was the first time ever that a former Mal-
tese prime minister was charged with such serious
crimes.
