Gozo promoted
as global
investment hub
during SiGMA
events
GOZO was promoted as an emerging
global centre for investment during the
SiGMA VIP Gozo Experience and the
Affiliate Retreat, which brought together
leading figures from the gaming and digi-
tal innovation industries.
Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri ad-
dressed more than 60 investors from the
gaming and emerging technologies sec-
tors at the SiGMA VIP Gozo Experience,
held at the Innovation Hub in Xewkija.
The event marked the first collaboration
of its kind between the SiGMA Group
and the Ministry for Gozo and Planning
through InvestGozo.
The Gozo Business Chamber has pub-
lished its 2026 budget proposals, outlin-
ing a wide-ranging package of measures
aimed at strengthening accessibility, di-
versifying the island's economy, and ad-
dressing labor market challenges.
The document, entitled Budget 2026:
Driving Diversification, Empowering
People, draws on findings from the 2025
Gozo Business Sentiment Survey as well
as stakeholder feedback. The Chamber
said it highlights priorities designed to
make Gozo more "resilient, competitive,
and sustainable in the years ahead."
