Camilleri said the first phase
of the scheme was introduced
in April for the Urban Con-

The minister also confirmed

AS Gozo celebrates Victoria's
pre-selection for the 2031 Euro-
pean Capital of Culture, debate
has resurfaced over its name.
Some see "Victoria" as colonial,
while others note locals chose
it in 1887. Photographer Dan-
iel Cilia said the name reflected
ambition, not subservience. For
many, the discussion reflects
Gozo's identity, where history
and pride are closely linked.
