A night to remember in Ghajnsielem MUSIC, community and culture took centre stage in Għajnsielem on Monday evening as the St Jo- seph Band, Għajnsielem A.D. 1928, presented Beyond: A Mu- sical Journey in Pjazza Madonna ta' Loreto. The free concert, held on 25 August, brought together musi- cians, singers and soloists for an evening described "as one filled with exceptional music, energy and emotion." The concert featured vocalist Jolene Samhan and was con- ducted by Frankie Debono and Paul Rapa, with the St Joseph Band delivering a varied perfor- mance designed to bring audi- ences on a musical journey "be- yond" generations and musical styles. Organisers praised the musical director, soloists, singers, musi- cians and members of the band for their dedication and com- mitment, saying their passion and performances helped make the evening a memorable one. A special acknowledgement was also given to the audience. The organisers thanked every- one who attended and support- ed the concert. Held in Pjazza Madonna ta' Lo- reto, the event sought to under- line the role of music in bringing communities together. "Music brings us together. Music takes us Beyond," organisers said.
