Featuring flautist Silvio Zammit and pianist Ramona Zammit Formosa. Tickets at €8 can be purchased at the door. MARCH 19 Gaetano Kanta: mill-Balluta sax- Chalet Tribute concert for the Maltese musician Gaeatano Kanta at Teatru Salesjan, featuring music by Dorothy and Gianluca Bezzina, with accompaniment by other members of their family. Organised by the Ghaqda tal-Malti, University of Malta. Starts at 19:00. Entrance is free but booking is required: 99 032014/21 683068 or gaetanokanta@ gmail.com. Free parking will be provided at the St Patrick's grounds. MARCH 19 Sempliciment tat-Triq The Maltese hip-hop duo will be performing at Gugar Hangout and Bar, Republic Street, Valletta. Starts at 20:30. Entrance will be based on a voluntary donation, the proceeds of which will be going towards the band's upcoming tour across Italy and France. MARCH 21 The Suburbanite Concert by The Suburbanite (Robert Pisani) at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida. He will be joined by musicians from Stolen Creep and Krishna, and supported by Dan Abdilla from Megafun. Entrance is at €2 at the door. MARCH 22 Most intimate: Concert by Claire Tonna Maltese singer-songwriter Claire Tonna will be performing at The Royal British Legion Bar, Melita Street, Valletta. The concert will feature songs from the singer's album The Port – with which she toured across New Zealand last year. She will be accompanied by a band which will include: Cello – José Goruchapa (Spain); Piano – Mario Sammut; Drums – Michael Galea; Guitar – Sean Decelis; Backing Vocals – Justin WHAT'S ON Freedom: A Contemporary Performance An evening of performance, poetry and visual arts at the Notre Dame Theatre, Zabbar from 20:00. Participants include Matt Grima Connell, Simone Inguanez, Danjeli Schembri, Rebecca Camilleri, Mariele Żammit, Joseph Camilleri, Warren Galea, Claire Tonna and Justin Galea. Entrance is at €10. The event is rated 16. Devised by Justin Galea. St Patrick's Festival – Valletta Musical parade and concert across Valletta in celebration of St Patrick's Day, organised by the Irish Maltese Circle Valletta Local Council from 11:45 to 14:30. The parade will start from Valletta City Gates and proceed to St George's Square where a concert will take place incorporating Irish and Maltese music and dance. All Strings Attached Concert at the Carmelite Priory, Mdina at 16:30. Featuring Klara Nazaj (violin) and Akos Kertesz (cello). Programme features: Corelli – Sonata 4 OP 5 no. 8, Bach – Gavotta from 3rd English Suite, Pleyel – Duo, Purcell – Aria and Gavotta, Schubert – Menuett and Dancla – Don Giovanni Duo.
