The Hospice Malta Children's Sum- mer Club 2014 offers care and sup- port to children with family members or guardians who are receiving Hos- pice Malta's services. The club holds twice weekly outings in the morning and the children participate in vari- ous activities such as swimming, fun parks, cinema, cultural visits and craft sessions. "The Children's Summer Club is now in its 15th year. It provides res- pite to families and at the same time children enjoy educational activities and socialise with others in a fun and friendly environment. This is made possible with the help of our dedi- cated volunteers who accompany the group and thanks to HSBC Malta Foundation's renewed support," said Ms Spiteri. HSBC Malta Foundation spokesperson expressed appreciation to Hospice Malta, saying: "Hospice Malta is doing extraordinary work with patients and their families. GasanMamo Insurance helps safeguard teens when driving Turning 18 is an exciting time for anyone and represents a number of things to most people; more free- dom, the right to vote and the op- portunity to get a car and drive off. While the excitement for teens in- creases as cars are researched and lessons booked, the same cannot be said about the parents who will be looking for new ways to keep their children safe when driving. With several crashes involving 18 to 24 year olds caused by speeding GasanMamo has recently launched a new scheme, where drivers who fall in the 18 to 24 age bracket can install a telematics device in their car, which records the speed and distance covered by the vehicle and get a 65% discount on their car in- surance. The information obtained by the device will be used to score driving performance and all a driver needs to do is to maintain a healthy score by driving cautiously and in return obtain the independence and free- dom of having their car insurance in their own names whilst earning their own no claims discount from day one and giving peace of mind to parents who worry that their chil- dren are not driving safely. Further information on the scheme can be obtained by visiting www.boosh.com.mt or one of Gas- anMamo's branches across Malta and Gozo.
