Events 29 maltatoday, Sunday, 8 February 2015 Alexander Gauci and Ryan Cas- sar were both lucky winners of an official Brazuca football from the actual World Cup 2014. Both par- ticipated in a competition organ- ised by GSD Marketing Ltd, local bottlers of Coca-Cola, on TVM2's Kontrattak sports programme. The balls, which have been framed in a customized Coca-Co- la stand, are from the Argentina vs Switzerland (1:0) match in Brazil. By winning this game, Argentina qualified for the quarterfinals. The winning goal had been scored by Angel Di Maria following Li- onel Messi 's pass during extra time. At the 2014 World Cup, Messi led Argentina to the final, win- ning four consecutive Man of the Match awards in the process, and received the Golden Ball award as the best player of the tournament. The digital World Cup Dream Ball Competition was held through the MyCoke Malta Facebook page and Kontrattak programme be- tween last November 30 and De- cember 21. Apart from the main prize, there were a further 100 consolation prizes for the partici- pants who received products from GSD Marketing Ltd. "As an active supporter of sports and physical activit y, Coca-Cola has been very present in the last World Cup. Acknowledging the enthusiasm that the Maltese audi- ence always show for the world cup we gave competitors the chance to claim a piece of 2014 FIFA World Cup history and win footballs used during the matches," said Head of Marketing Albert Gouder. The Grassy Hopper team have cel- ebrate the official opening of their third outlet in just over a year, a Café space in St. George's Street, Gzira which opens daily from 8am till 4pm as well as Friday and Satur- day evenings and Sunday lunch. The idea is simple, "We believe that the food we eat is one of the foundations of how happy and ful- filling our lives can be. If we eat foods full of nutrients, energy and cleansing properties, the level of passion and commitment we can bring to our lives will increase ac- cordingly," says Grassy Hopper founder Yasmin Degiorgio. The team aim to reduce the bar- riers to healthy eating by making it tasty and affordable. Why should the experience of eating a healthy meal be any different from any oth- er enjoyable dining experience? The only difference should be in the af- ter effect - leaving you ready to get on with your day will full energy and power. The transition to a fixed location with seating has allowed the team to expand their menu and services, with many new items planned for launch in the upcoming months. The Café itself was designed from scratch and gives you a real feel for the character of the business. The official opening on Friday also marked the beginning of an exten- sion to their opening hours to add weekend lunches and also dinner on Friday and Saturday evening. For those who also loved their mobile outlet, fear not...it will be attending many events over the summer before finding a perma- nent home in a new location next winter. Freschello is a brand of wines pro- duced by Cielo e Terra Vini SpA in Veneto and boasts to be the most sold bottled wine in Italy, with near- ly 10 million bottles sold in 2013. Freschello donates part of its prof- its to ENIGM International, an or- ganisation that helps build water wells in Africa. The goal, achieved thanks to the "Project Blue" 2010 - 2013 of Cielo e Terra SpA, is that 31 water wells were created equipped with a hy- draulic pump, fully implemented and working in 31 different villages located in poorest areas of Sierra Leone. Approximately 12,400 people are direct beneficiaries of these wells, providing 32 million litres of drink- ing water supplied per year. These constructed wells have a life span of at least 20 years – proof of this is the first water well constructed by Fre- schello's mother company in Sierra Leone - built 20 years ago and still working.
