This was the third activity organised for the Mo- tocross while another activity was held at the Quarry at Torri Falka in Zebbieh, limits of Mgarr. This was the fourth Trials programme. A look at this day in Mgarr where 9 competitors took part divided into two classes. This competition was held on six technical sections where each one was more difficult than the previous one because of wet places on track. Consequently these parts of the sections were more slippery and of poorer trac- tion than normal. In Class A Damon Bonello was seen to dominate the first section on his Gas Gas by riding a Clean pass. As the day continued to be tougher for Damon, Caruana Rob- ert began closing the gap on him on his Gas Gas. Both continued to battle together for the lead until the end but the final result shows Bonello winning the class, followed by Caruana. Third and fourth plac- es respectively were won by Nick Farrugia on a Beta who finished ahead of Gary Debono on Sherco. In Class B Joseph Scicluna and Manuel Camilleri, both on Gas Gas motorcycles, made a good start and were followed by Bernard Sammut on a Beta. Scicluna placed ahead of his mates and recorded his highest points in his fifth section and won his class. Camilleri and Sammut finished in second and third places respectively. Ian Scicluna who is a novice in this sport and finished in fourth place on a Gas Gas. The Motocross racing at Ta' Qali was the third Championship event for 2014/15 with 13 competitors taking part. They were divided into three classes. Class A and B as well as another class for Vintage motor- cycles. In Class A Clayton Camilleri was seen battling for the lead with Trevor Muscat who was declared winner, though both riders won the same number of points. Edward Ciantar finished in third place on a Kawasaki, followed in fourth by Kyle Camilleri riding a KTM mo- torcycle. Class B was dominated by Ludvick Muscat on a KTM. He dominated his victory by winning in the two heats of the day. Muscat was always followed by Gozo rider Adam Sul- tana on his Kawasaki. Third place was won by Elvin Debono, also on a Kawasaki while fourth place was won by young Mark Mamo on a Yamaha machine. Meanwhile the 5th Trials event will take place on 19 April at Ta' Qali.
