MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL APRIL 18, 19 Medieval Mdina Annual medieval festival across the streets of Mdina, from 10:00. Featuring re-enactments of scenes from medieval times, like the town crier, a slave market, a medieval kitchen, sword fighting, archery, and medieval tavern. There are also battles and skirmishes, magic shows, live music, falconry displays, parades, flag throwing shows, and more. PUBLIC LECTURES TONIGHT Interpreting the Symbols of St John's Co-Cathedral Public lecture by Dane Munro at the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana at 18:30. An authority on the history and art of the Order of St John, Dane Munro will interpret the symbols on the marble tombstones and monuments of St John's Co-Cathedral. Skeggs read Fine Art at Magdalene College Cambridge and has been a lecturer on paintings since 1980.
