The people are the territory The University of Malta together with the Italian Cultural Institute, will be hosting the final event of the EU Project – Performigrations: The People are the Territory. This is a two-year project that has blended the power of performance with the issue of migration and will culminate in a two-day finale in Malta. Two events will take place on March 10 and 11. One is a discussion panel at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Valletta, and the other a concert by the Dominic Marcuso Band at the Junior College Auditorium. The project brings European and Canadian Universities and stakeholders, and the Istitito Italiana di Cultura in Montreal and Malta, together to focus on the creative and fruitful aspect of migration and the joining of people in creativity and in art. Migration is undoubtedly a contemporary crises, one which has dangerous echoes. The possibility, therefore to recognize the positive and creative fruit of the migration of Europeans to Canada in the past, is very timely. This will be done through the music of the Dominic Marcuso Band. The concert will be taking place at the Junior College Auditorium, Msida at 19:00. Entrance is free Dominic Marcuso Band Paintings by Gabriel Buttigieg at Heritage Malta, Valletta
