MARCH 18, 19 Metal Over Malta Festival II Festival of Maltese and international bands at Chateau Buskett, Buskett at 17:00. Bookings: http://w w w. metalovermalta.com/. MARCH 18 BILA EP launch Local indie band BILA will be launching their debut EP in Malta after launching it in Venice last year. The launch gig will take place at The Funky Monkey Club, Manoel Island at 21:00. They will be supported by Sempliciment tat-Triq, Beesqueeze and Kingdoms Of Dusk. A comic related to the band by artist Samwel Sultana will also be released on the night. Entrance is at €5, €7 with CD/tape. MARCH 27 Vivaldi's The Four Seasons Concert in aid of brain research at St Publius Church, Floriana at 19:30. Featuring internationally acclaimed Maltese violinist Carmine Lauri under the direction of Michael Laus. This special performance is being held in aid of brain research and organised by the University of Malta Research Trust (RIDT) in collaboration with the Malta Neuroscience Network. EXHIBITIONS MARCH 19-APRIL 10 Soar – Anatomy in Motion This installation is the culmination of a five-year long project by physician Charles Paul Azzopardi, where the display of a corpus of 44 photographic prints is based on the practice of dance, photography and original writing. Taking place at Spazju Kreattiv (St James Cavalier), Valletta. Opening Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 10.00 to 15:00; Friday, Saturday 15:00 to 19:00. Gallery f loor talks with the artists: Saturday 19 March 16:00 and 18:00. MARCH 19-APRIL 6 Sensory Apparatus Collective exhibition by the artist in residence at Blitz, St Lucy Street, Valletta. Featuring work by Bonamy Devas, Libby Heaney and Anna Ridler. Comprising a three-room installation and education room, Sensory Apparatus is a collaborative, interdisciplinary installation, making visible the incessant f low of data we constantly and often unknowingly create, bringing into question our perception of how technology shapes the apparently 'optimised ' society we live in. UNTIL MARCH 30 The Invisible, Visible Collective exhibition of paintings by Sara Pace and Xaxa Calleja at Fortress Builders, St Mark Street, Valletta at 19:30. Directed by Marcelle Teuma and featuring both professional and non- professional actors. Cast includes: Ali Konaté, Sharon Bezzina, Marta Lombardi and Magdalena Von Kuilenburg. PUBLIC LECTURE MARCH 17 'Terha Kahla s-Sema' Public lecture by writer Kit Azzopardi at Hall 9 of the ICT Faculty, University of Malta at 18:30. The title of the talk is, 'Terħa kaħla s-sema. Bliet Dun Karm u bnadi oħra'. Vivaldi's Four Seasons will be performed by internationally acclaimed Maltese violinist Carmine Lauri Soloists and chorus, accompanied by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform Orphee et Eurydice
