The intervention by WE ACT is based on Applied Behav- iour Analysis- Verbal Behaviour. Fundación Mapfre has spon- sored the training of psycholo- gists and graduate educators working at EPF to follow the basic and advanced course in ABA-VB which was conducted by Prof. Carlo Ricci and Dr Chi- ara Maugadda. MAPFRE is also sponsoring part of the children's intervention. The staff at Equal Partner's Foundation will be ini- tially supervised by the Walden institute. During a workshop held at MAPFRE Midddlesea's head of- fice in Floriana, Prof. Ricci, President of the Wal- den Institute in Rome, addressed a group of parents and profes- sionals. Prof. Ricci has published 15 books, 21 chapters, 5 prefaces, more than 100 articles in Italian and international journals. His latest gift to the academic and psycho-educational field is an ex- tensive manual on ABA-VB pub- lished by Edizioni Centro Studi Erickson. He explained that early inter- vention needs to be Intensive and within the child's context (15 hours at school and 15 hours at home per week) and needs to begin as early as possible. He ex- plained that this needs to be im- plemented in the child's natural environment: home and inclusive school and parents need to be committed to it. Prof. Ricci's presentation was followed by a discussion with par- ents of children within the spec- trum who asked various ques- tions on the intervention itself, the pilot project WE ACT and on financial issues. Electronics are fantastic, suspension, brakes, ergonom- ics and weight are at an all-time best and the choice of machines is wider than ever. The Enduro market playing field has managed to remain level up until the 2017 EXC launch. KTM have taken each model and rebuilt all the integral ele- ments of its architecture. It is a huge undertaking; eight com- pletely new models released in just a single year, and six com- pletely renewed MX models with the most notable change lying in the ergonomics. They're slim- mer, smoother and a touch lower in seat height. Moving around, transitioning from standing to sitting and vice versa, or getting far enough forward on the seat has just gotten a whole lot easier. You now find yourself more on top of the bike and a little more in charge. KTM claims the new carbure- tor offers a collection of improve- ments, including a bike that is both easier to jet and needs less jetting. Ultimately, KTM's new model updates are something of a marvel. Every single model is better than it was. The base er- gonomics are more sporty and more agile. The engines have made every model coming out more refined. It' is a pleasant stock setting that, for the vast majority of riders, will work well in most situations. The range has a bike to suit everyone and your chosen model will, without ques- tion, be the best one you can buy. Fapi Motors are the distributors of the KTM motorcycles brand.
