DECEMBER 23-JANUARY 8 Puss in Boots: A Traditional Christmas Pantomime The Masquerade Theatre Company is back with its annual Christmas panto at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 15:00 and 20:00. Written by Malcolm Galea, who will also be making a return in the role of dame following 2014's Auntie Patka, the show will be directed by Anthony Bezzina with musical direction in the hands of Kris Spiteri while Elena Zammit will be in charge of choreography. The cast also includes Stephen Oliver, Joseph Zammit, Tina Rizzo, Anton Saliba, Analise Cassar, Joe Depasquale, and Katherine Brown in the title role. EXHIBITIONS UNTIL DECEMBER 16 Arbor Vitae Exhibition of paintings by Jeni Caruana at The Majjistral Nature and History Park, Ghajn Tuffieha. While the exhibition is on display Caruana will be hosting some events at the Majjistral Visitors Centre. These include an entertaining talk by the Chairman of the Park, Sammy Vella, followed by a guided walk. The exhibition will be open to the public daily from 10:00 to 15:00. With no direct communication between the station and Earth, and only GERTY to tend to his daily needs he begins to hallucinate. After getting into an accident he discovers something that will make him attempt to get back to Earth alone, while questioning his own sanity. CineXjenza aims to spark discussion on science topics raised in films. Following the screening of Moon, guest speakers Dr Jackson Levi Said and Dr Edward Duca from the University of Malta will initiate a discussion on astrophysics and human cloning.
