maltatoday, WEDNESDAY, 7 JUNE 2017 17 Events Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Femme evokes the spirit of a Sicilian summer SIXTEEN years after the launch of Light Blue, master perfumer Olivier Cresp writes a new chapter of the Light Blue saga with Light Blue Eau In- tense pour Femme. The fragrance opens with a sharp, addictive duo of scents: luminous lemon and crisp Granny Smith apple. With its fruity and floral facets, elegant marigold blends this accord in- to heart notes: a wave of glow- ing, heady jasmine petals. Its signature trail of lustrous am- ber woods and precious musks melts into sun-kissed skin, un- furls into a vibrant, sensuously scented wake. Light Blue Eau Intense is more than a scent, it is the aura of Mediterranean beauty. Dolce e Gabbana is exclusive- ly represented by C+M Market- ing Ltd. Tel. 2142 4079 A concentrate Of masculine freshness with Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme First launched in 2007, Light Blue pour Homme offers a magnetic, masculine alter ego to Dolce&Gabbana's iconic feminine perfume. Today, mas- ter perfumer Alberto Moril- las, continues to tell the story with Light Blue Eau Intense pour Homme, with its signa- ture contrast of freshness and sensuality becoming more as- sertive. A chilled citrus cock- tail of refreshing mandarin and frozen grapefruit gives the top notes a cool, elegant twist while the aromatic juniper dives into the heart of salty, aquatic ac- cord, conjuring the translucent blue water of the Mediterra- nean Sea. An abundance of vi- brant amber woods wrapped in musks extends the radiance and staying power of this mas- culine blend, leaving a potent trail that captures the innate sensuality of the Light Blue man. Tel. 2142 4079 Water meets science - a collaboration between HSBC and Esplora IN a first for Esplora, Malta's premier sci- ence centre destination, an art exhibition has been opened to the public to deepen the understanding of water and its essence to life. The Bil-Qatra il-Qatra exhibition will run until Saturday 17 June 2017. The exhibition is a result of a collabora- tion between HSBC Water Programme – Catch the Drop and Esplora – as led by the Chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando – to attract the attention of the curious minds, and to ignite enquiries into the STEAM fields which embrace science, technology, engineering, and mathemat- ics, together with art. All the artworks presented in the exhibition are a product of an educational process mentored by the Art Department within the Catholic Edu- cation Secretariat. The HSBC-Esplora partnership sees the development of especially-designed visual aid signs on hand washing. Visual aids are an effective tool for those on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and are ef- fective for children of all ages to be able to learn the essential life and social skills that they have yet to grasp. The visual aids have been approved by the Autism Parents Association and ADHD Malta, and have been placed in all the hand washing areas of Esplora. Plans are afoot to use the visual aids in other high traffic places in Malta and Gozo. Further, a new colouring book has been developed featuring the well-known mas- cot of HSBC Water Programme – Catch the Drop, Harvey the Lifestyle Dog. In the book, Harvey visits the captivating world of Esplora as well as continues his previ- ous attempts to save water. The colouring book is available to visitors for free until the stock lasts. Meanwhile, Esplora will dedicate a per- manent space in its Eco-Life zone to an exhibition of challenging but fun games based on the theme of water. The games were developed by the students of the In- stitute for the Creative Arts of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technol- ogy (MCAST) in collaboration with HS- BC Water Programme – Catch the Drop. The interactive games will be available on touch-screens at Esplora.
