Direct a gun (3) Bd1+ Kb4 Nd3+ mate ASMK Autocross final on Saturday NEXT Saturday 2nd June 2018 Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi will be organising the Final 9 Laps Race of the Modi- fied Autocross Class A race which could not be held on 26th November 2017 due to lack of time for this Final. This Final on Saturday 2nd June starts at 6pm and entry is free for all. The finalists for this race are in this order: Ryan Scerri on an Opel Corsa, the Peugeot 106 of Jean Paul Grech, Gordon John- son on an Opel Corsa, the Volk- swagen Polo of Vince Farrugia, Noel Zammit on his Fiat Punto and the Vauxhall Nova of An- drew Pisani. Last Saturday 26th May the Association organised the eight event of the Honda Moto- cross National Championship 2017/2018 where a total of 12 riders registered for this race. They were divided into three classes and the following are the results: In the Motocross Class A Paul Muscat on a Yamaha won this class and he was followed by Kyle Camilleri on KTM in sec- ond place while the third place was won by Clayton Camill- eri on a KTM. Fourth and the fifth places were won by Trevor Muscat on a Husqvarna and by Mark Mamo on a Yamaha 125cc 2T. In the Motocross Class B Mi- chael Sant on Husqvarna won this class. Sant was followed by Clinton Calleja on a Yamaha. In the Veterans Class Jethro Sant on a Yamaha won. Sant was fol- lowed by Paul Deguara riding a KTM while third place finisher was William Sant riding a Hon- da. The last Motocross race for this season is scheduled for Sat- urday 16th June 2018. In the meantime the Associa- tion announced some changes to the current events program for this summer's events. The last event of the season of the autocross cars will be held on Saturday 7th July 2018. Dur- ing this event ASMK is also or- gansing the Demolition for Vans and SUV's. The program begins at 7pm with the Autocross cars and the Demolition is to start at 11pm. The Association also an- nounced that one can register for this Vans Demolition dur- ing the last pre-race meeting on Thursday 14th June 2018 at the clubhouse of ASMK at Mtarfa.
