COMMERCIAL 16 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 17 JUNE 2018 IN 2018, Les Beiges reinvents a nude style that plays by its own rules. The complexion becomes sheer, revealing the texture of the skin; natural colors blush at- op cheekbones and lips to bring out radiance and heighten a natural healthy glow, while eyes are barely swept with a tinted breeze. And because there is not one nude but many, Les Beiges now adapts to all skin tones with a wide palette of shades and an overall approach (complexion, eyes, lips) that enhances the nat- ural beauty of all women. Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser A sheer unifying fluid, Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser naturally en- hances the skin with a luminous glow. Its ultra-fine and silky texture instantly melts onto the skin for an im- perceptibly natu- ral result with a satin finish. An instant retouch artist and embel- lishing filter, it moisturises and enhances the skin texture as soon as it is applied. Available in six shades, it adapts to the needs of all women. A harmony that does it all Intuitive and playful, the ap- plication of Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous M u l t i - C o l o r Powder meets every demand and every desire. The powder case presents a har- mony of several shades. Apply to areas on the face that catch the light for a subtle result or to the entire face for a glowing com- plexion. Gently sweep the half- moon brush over the powders to perfectly blend the different shades. Subtle and sheer, lumi- nous and shimmering, makeup becomes buildable, intensifying with each stroke of the brush. A variation of natural shades for the eyes To illuminate and intensify the eyes, CHANEL carefully selected two new harmonies, each composed of five light to dark, matte and satin eyeshad- ows. The lightest shade illumi- nates the eyes. It is applied to the entire eyelid, on its own or as a base under another colour, for a luminous natural makeup result. It can be blended with darker shades at the base of the lashes for more intense and con- trasted eyes. On their own, the darker shades outline the eye contour to discreetly open up the eyes. A silky caress on the lips Developed with the same quest for comfort and freedom, Les Beiges Healthy Glow Lip Balm offers a sheer make-up re- sult, protects all season long and forms a soft cocoon on the sur- face of the lips, which are often weakened. All year long, regard- less of the season, it moisturises and revives the natural lip color for a luminous, natural and sheer finish. Chanel is distributed by Alfred Gera & Sons Ltd THIS year marks the 50th anniversary of Mdina Glass, Malta's pre-eminent glass- maker, and this milestone also marks the origins of dec- orative glassware production on the Maltese islands. The colourful history of Mdina Glass is told in great depth in a new book, "LEGACY: 50 Years of Mdina Glass", due to be released on 18 June. The narrative explores the story of this well-known Mal- tese brand through the crafts- men that have worked at the Ta' Qali premises over the years, through the products to have been created and the evolution of the glass making facilities. The 260 pages also include nearly 300 images, from printed material, glass- making photos and wonder- ful glassware. Author Mark Warner ex- plained, "The book has taken three years to put together. I started with some research, interviews, photo shoots here and in the UK and looking through archival material to start putting some kind of structure together. With that phase completed, I had a good idea of where I would be going with the story and the book's structure. It's been a lot of hard work, but seeing it coming together, I can only feel that it has been worth- while."
