Despite threats of possible rain, the weather turned out to be perfect for an ear- ly Sunday morning run which started from and finished at Tigne Point. The popular Ladies only race saw nearly 120 particpants take part. Borda, who returned to running after an injury, took the lead from the start of the race but was closely followed by Anna Skin- ner (Raptorz Running Club) and Charyl Fava (Agones SFC). Skinner kept Borda on her toes throughout the one loop route which is dotted by some steep inclines. Borda finished the race in a time of 43 minutes 58 seconds, with Skinner clocking in the finish four seconds after. Fava com- pleted the trio for the top podium places 37 seconds later. Prizes were given to the winners by Char- lie Demanuele, Race Director. The next race in the House of Sport 10k Series will be the Mdina Edition which will take place on Sunday 14 April.
