GRDA meets US ambassador to discuss
Gozo's development and ties
OFFICIALS from the Gozo Re-
gional Development Authority
(GRDA) have held talks with
the United States ambassador to
Malta on Gozo's development
priorities and future prospects.
The meeting, held in Victo-
ria, brought together GRDA
chairman Michael Grech, chief
executive Ivan Falzon, and U.S.
Ambassador Sommers Far-
kas, along with other Gozitan
stakeholders and Malta's am-
bassador to the United States,
Godfrey Xuereb.
According to the GRDA, dis-
cussions focused on Gozo's
development and opportuni-
ties for future growth, as well
as ways to strengthen ties be-
tween the island and the Unit-
ed States.
The authority said the meet-
ing also explored potential
areas of collaboration and
highlighted the importance of
maintaining strong interna-
tional relationships that sup-
port Gozo's economic and so-
cial development.
It described the talks as part
of ongoing efforts to build part-
nerships and exchange per-
spectives with foreign counter-
parts, aimed at benefiting the
island and its community.
