Lent to Easter exhibition
THE Gozo Philatelic Society show-
case on level -1 at Il-Ħaġar museum
is now changed to a display of stamps
and cards dealing with Holy Week.
Items include one of the Tapestries
sets prepared by Emvin Cremona
and covers featuring traditional cel-
ebrations. But probably the highlight
consists of maximum cards bearing
stamps issued by Bophuthatswana,
the extinct South African Bantustan
for Tswana-speaking people from the
late 1970s.
There is no entry fee at this cultural
centre in Victoria's Pjazza San Ġorġ,
with normal hours of 9am to 5pm sev-
en days a week. It will remain till mid
April. This obviously also offers an
opportunity for visitors to go through
other exciting temporary exhibits.
