TOURISM operators in Gozo had a positive 2025, driven by stronger international demand and steady domestic activity, according to the Gozo Tourism Operators Performance Review 2025. The report, published jointly by the Gozo Tourism Associ- ation and the Gozo Regional Development Authority, said that the sector's overall direc- tion remains positive. But it also flagged growing pressure points, particularly rising costs, staff shortages and infrastruc- ture limits, which are starting to weigh on confidence heading into 2026. Growth driven by demand, not higher prices The report showed that 56% of operators saw their business improve compared to 2024, while just 14% reported a drop. The strongest growth came from tourism attractions and activities, where 76% said per- formance improved, followed closely by tourism and travel services at 75%.
