7 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 2 AUGUST 2026 COMMERCIAL EY Engage returns with a focus on AI, technology and business transformation EY Malta is placing technology, innovation and business trans- formation at the centre of the conversation with the return of EY Engage, taking place on 24 September 2026 at The Wes- tin Dragonara, St Julian's. The event will bring together busi- ness leaders, technology leaders and decision-makers to explore the forces shaping the future of organisations. Building on the success of pre- vious editions, EY Engage will feature a programme centred on practical applications of tech- nology and AI, moving beyond vision and theory to focus on the real-world challenges organisa- tions are facing today. This year's event is centred around the theme "Build the AI- Ready Enterprise" and is struc- tured around four key pillars: Protect, Operate, Enable and Control - reflecting the chal- lenges organisations face as they move from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption. Under Protect, discussions will focus on cyber resilience in an AI-driven world, exploring how organisations can strengthen digital trust and defend against increasingly sophisticated threats targeting data, AI mod- els and software supply chains. The Operate stream will exam- ine how organisations are build- ing the agentic enterprise, mov- ing beyond AI experimentation to autonomous, decision-mak- ing systems capable of orches- trating workflows, enhancing productivity and transforming operations. Under Enable, speakers will ex- plore how businesses can create AI-ready data foundations and intelligent workflows, enabling organisations to embed AI into everyday processes and unlock greater efficiency, insight and innovation. Finally, Control will focus on governance, risk and trust, ex- amining the frameworks or- ganisations need to implement responsible AI, maintain com- pliance and scale AI adoption with confidence. Through keynote sessions, al- liance-led thought leadership, practical case studies and peer discussions, attendees will gain actionable insights into how organisations are scaling AI, strengthening cyber resilience and modernising operations while maintaining trust, govern- ance and control. Kevin Mallia, EY Malta Con- sulting Partner, said: "Many organisations have moved beyond asking whether AI is relevant and are now fo- cused on how to scale it safely, responsibly and effectively. EY Engage is designed for leaders looking to learn from real ex- periences, understand what is working in the market and trans- late emerging technologies into tangible business outcomes." EY Engage brings together technology leaders, CIOs, CIS- Os, transformation profession- als and senior business execu- tives from across Malta's public and private sectors. The event will feature thought leadership from EY profession- als, global alliance partners and industry practitioners, creating a platform for sharing practical experiences and lessons learned from AI and transformation in- itiatives. While EY Engage focuses on technology, innovation and transformation, attendees also have the opportunity to partic- ipate in Future Realised 2026, EY Malta's flagship economic forum, taking place on 21 Oc- tober 2026 at the Mediterrane- an Conference Centre, Valletta. The event will explore Malta's competitiveness in a changing global environment, with a par- ticular focus on geopolitics, in- vestment, productivity and AI. Together, the two events offer a unique opportunity to under- stand both the technological and economic forces shaping the fu- ture of organisations, industries and Malta's wider business land- scape. To encourage participation across both flagship events, EY Malta is offering a limited num- ber of combo tickets until 14th August 2026, after which stand- ard pricing will apply.
