The show returns to the Med- iterranean Conference Centre, Valletta, on 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 September 2026, fol- lowing a successful first run that earned praise for Cardo- na's performance and Vikesh Godhwani's inventive direc- tion. A follow-up to Cardona's hugely popular Mid-Djarju ta' Student fi Skola tal-Knisja, Noti mil-Loki ta' Big G's finds its protagonist a little older and thrust into a very different world. Heartbreak sends him spi- ralling into drunken nights, questionable decisions, new encounters and the colourful chaos of Maltese nightlife, with the infamous Big G's serving as the backdrop to a story about growing up, messing up and eventually confronting your- self. Written and performed by Jamie Cardona, the produc- tion sees him transform into a dizzying collection of char- acters, moving between direct audience interaction, live and recorded cameras, backstage spaces and the world of Big G's. The result is part play, part gig and part late-night confession, driven by Cardona's trademark humour and vulnerability. The production is directed by Vikesh Godhwani, with orig- inal music by Jamie Cardona and Aleandro Spiteri Monsig- neur and musical direction by Spiteri Monsigneur. Live music is woven directly into the storytelling, including five original songs written and performed by Cardona. Pup- petry by Theatre Anon with live camera work and multime- dia elements under the techni- cal direction by Dylan Odom and an unconventional staging concept add further layers to a production where the machin- ery of theatre itself becomes part of the show. The return gives those who missed the first run another chance to watch, while those who were there the first time can step back into the chaos once again.
