With this result Sliema missed an opportunity to move to the top of the BOV Premier League standings. Tarxien's managed to take an early lead after just nine minutes of play thanks to a fantastic freekick by Jorge Santos Silva that left no chance for goalkeeper Henry Bonello. Sliema managed to get back into the match after Abubakar BelloOsagie scored thanks to a penalty shot on the 26th minute. Sliema managed to finally take the lead on the 36th minute thanks to a goal by Stanley Ohawuchi. On the 40th minute, Tarxien managed to equalise when they were awarded a penalty. Ronaille Calheira Seara made no mistake from the penalty spot to make the score 2-2. On the 58th minute Tarxien managed to take the lead again thanks to Ronaille Calheira Seara. Tarxien's match turned for the worse when they were reduced to ten men as Jorge Santos Silva received his second yellow card and was sent off. Sliema started to press for the equaliser and it finally arrived on the 85th minute. Off a corner by Trevor Cilia, Stanley Ohawuchi made no mistake with his header to beat goal- keeper Nicholas George Vella. Abubaker Bello-Osagie was voted BOV Player of the Match. Rabat Ajax ......... 0 Floriana ............. 4 Floriana managed to register their second successive victory after the crushed Rabat Ajax 4-0. The match would be remembered by Igor Coronado as he scored a hat-trick. Floriana's dominance showed just after 11 minutes when they managed to take the lead. Off a corner by Daniel Bogdanovic, Igor Coronado headed the ball past goalkeeper Pavle Velimirovic. Floriana doubled the score on the 52nd minute when Gary Roberts served Coronado to have the latter beat Velimirovic with his low shot. On the 65th minute, Daniel Bogdanovic had his powerful shot beat the Rabat goalkeeper to make the score 3-0. Floriana made sure they took all
