Events 24 maltatoday, SUNDAY, 18 MAY 2014 The Global Leader in Residence and Citizenship Programs As globalization has expanded, resi- dence and citizenship have become topics of significant interest among the increasing number of internation- ally mobile entrepreneurs and inves- tors. Henley & Partners are the leader in this important and developing field, and the creators of the concept of Res- idence and Citizenship Planning. Each year, hundreds of wealthy in- dividuals, families and their advisors rely on their expertise and experience in this area. Henley & Partners provide a range of services which are essential to protect and improve the security of your family, and to protect and grow your wealth, now and for the future. Highly qualified professionals in over 20 offices worldwide act as close ad- visors and trustees to Henley & Part- ners' clients, who turn to them for help and support wherever they are in the world. Every day, individual clients, as well as wealth advisors worldwide, rely on Henley & Partners for advice on in- ternational residence and citizenship matters. To see how their combined expertise and global reach could also work for you, contact Henley & Part- ners for further information or to ar- range a private consultation. AP Impact and Philanthropy An important distinguishing feature of Henley & Partners is their substantial commitment to help those who are less fortunate. This commitment dates back to their roots and is today expressed mainly through the Henley & Partners Founda- tion, which operates quietly but very effectively. For many years Henley & Partners as a firm has committed large parts of its yearly global profits to support humanitarian projects. This substan- tial commitment is further strengthened by the fact that all projects benefit directly from it and are administered by volunteers within the firm or associates in the countries where they oper- ate. Furthermore, several Henley & Partners clients have become important sponsors of the projects. Most of the projects are focused on helping children in need. For example, more than 120 million children around the world are without any formal education or schooling, and many more have only very limited access to educa- tion. With rare exceptions, they never have the chance to improve their lives, and those children who are born poor tend to die poor. Henley & Partners therefore believe that one of the most significant contributions they can make to humankind is to help those who cannot help themselves, in particular underprivileged children. From time to time, they also fund other important projects of local, national or interna- tional importance, such as global reforestation initiatives, and assist directly with worthy causes where they can help in a meaningful way to im- prove the lives of others.
