Events 42 Another astounding success for ROCS Group Public transportation services ROCS Group deserves its title of Malta's leading household brand! Partnering up with Expo Events and Montekristo Estates, the ROCS group managed to bring back the traditional "Fiera" to all! With over 100,000 people passing through its doors this was truly remi- niscent of the trade fair's golden days in Naxxar when the fair was not only considered to be a commercial oppor- tunity but most importantly an outing for all the family. This 11-day event hosted attrac- tions for all and included an extensive dedicated kids area, over 220 exhibi- tors, five restaurants offering excellent food, an extensive animal park, over 6000 parking places, prizes every hour and much more. Not only did the ROCS Group have the annual game through which all competitors walked away with a ROCS branded limited edition leather soccer ball but for this year it also included a live Travel Trivia game hosted by the popular TV personality Owen Bon- nici. The live game show proved to be a great success with visitors vying to participate on this mini quiz on some of the fantastic destinations on offer at ROCS Travel. The ROCS Travel Sensational Sum- mer sale attracted many visitors try- ing to grab a last minute deal for their summer holidays or snatching an early bird offer. The latest investments campaign, named 'Life is better when you have a plan', was launched during the same fair. ROCS Group rewarded over 4,000 people who have taken up the ROCS Group offer to set up an appointment to discuss further their financial fu- ture, and walk away with Splash & Fun full day entrance tickets. Rachel Vella, ROCS Group director commented, " At the ROCS Group we have often been at the centre of mar- keting campaigns promoting national events. The Fiera l-Kbira project was proposed to us by Expo Events and I believe we have managed to draw the crowds and make the event the larg- est happening in terms of numbers for 2014. " Luke Gatt director of Expo Events Malta commented, "We believed in this event from the onset. This belief was further enhanced when we part- nered up with ROCS group, Malta's leading household brand, with its suc- cess story we felt confident that the Maltese and Gozitan public would not give it a miss. We are truly humbled that the Fiera l-Kbira managed to live up to its name with over 100,000 visi- tors in the 11 days it was open at Mon- tekristo Estates – a unique location!"
