The club's Statute was emended in such a way that instead of being pro- posed and seconded from the newly elected committee, the three major posts, namely the President, the Sec- retary and the Treasurer will now be elected from the members in the an- nual General Meeting. "This is a sign of Progress, democ- racy and willingness to improve the transparency of the club's functionali- ty", said the club's President John Zam- mit in a speech of more than an hour. Zammit said that Inter Club Malta is a healthy club and after 36 years of ex- istence is still running and one of the best Inter Club's in the World. He praised and thanked the found- ers of the club and all those who in the past worked for the club to make it what it is today with a two storey club and 3 big halls and owned completely by the club. The club's treasurer also presented the annual accounts and said in a short speech that Inter Club Malta is one of the few clubs that present also a monthly accounts report to show our transparency and accountability. At the end of the general meeting, with an overwhelming vote, Rodrigo Palacio was voted as the "Calciatore dell' Anno" for the last season. The Meeting ended with a small party for all those present to con- gratulate John Zammit and Lawrence Cutajar for their 20 years of service to Inter Club Malta.
