Frits Van Paasschen, CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline announce the launch of Your World Rewards LAST Sunday 16 November, dur- ing the last day of the Book Festi- val, Horizons together with author Carlo O. D'Emanuele celebrated his second book's main character in 'Iż-Żeffiena tal-Kerubini', in a creative and innovative style. The experience was known as 'The Dancer's Faces' (Uċuh iż- Żeffiena). This is an artistic con- cept that is evolving in parallel with the writings of this author, where before gathering at the Book Festival, these fourteen 'fac- es' walked through the streets of Valletta. Photography and videography were shot as part of this artistic adventure. Professional photogra- phy was also taken to each indi- vidual face with the idea of replac- ing the book cover with their own, thus making a statement that every woman can be or become this character. The documentary together with these new covers will be displayed next year. The idea behind this adventure is most of all a celebration of to- day's woman in different forms of art, exalting the characteris- tics, the beauty but most of all the determination of today's woman who knows all too well the diffi- culties encountered on the road to achieving her goals. Every woman can be this character, every wom- an has something to offer in to- day's complex society, and every woman can be 'Iż-Żeffiena tal- Kerubini'. Special thanks go to all the spon- sors who have made this day pos- sible and a success and photog- raphers Carlo Tonna De Lorenzo and Sebio Aquilina. Celebrating women in 'iz-Zeffiena tal-Kerubini'
