Afterselfie is, first and foremost, a cultural exchange between Malta and Italy as a number of Maltese and Italian artists will be showcasing their work in both countries. After being displayed at St James Cavalier, the exhibition will then move to Palazzo Trentini in Trento, Italy and will run from May 15 to 31. Featuring works by Bernice Buhagiar, Charlene Calleja, Sean Camilleri, Karen Caruana, Matthew Cassar, Luca Cauchi, Joe Chetcuti, Jessica Debattista, Glenn Ellul, Sara Ezabe, Anna Galea, Agatha Grima, Franco Navarro, Ray Piscopo, Marlon Polidano, Mark Schembri, Enrique` Tabone, Madeleine Gera, Mary Pitre` and Giovanna Castaldi. UNTIL APRIL 5 The Overlooked Performance Photography exhibition by Alex Attard at St James Cavalier, Valletta, presenting itself as a showcase of the ephemeral art beneath the face of Renzo Piano's new Parliament for Valletta. The Overlooked Performance exhibition is both an artistic expression and a document to the skin beneath the face of an historic architectural intervention and to the temporality of man at his workplace. The exhibition is curated by Vince Briffa. UNTIL MAY 1 The Roman Inquisition in Malta Exhibition at the Inquisitor's Palace, Birgu. The exhibition narrates the multifaceted role of the Inquisitor as supreme judge of the Holy Inquisition and Apostolic Delegate representative of the Papacy. It offers a unique and unprecedented opportunity to get to terms with stories of witchcraft, magical spells, theft and profanation of the sacred and a myriad of other curious episodes from the past. THEATRE AND DANCE MARCH 9-13 Holqa European Festival Festival of theatre and the dramatic arts at Junior College, Msida, from 09:00. The festival is in its second edition and will see young Maltese theatre professionals and adolescents working alongside their counterparts from other European countries through various theatre styles and activities. The seven participating countries this year are France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Malta and Spain. MARCH 15 Love's Labour's Won Live screening of the Royal Shakespeare Company production at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 18:30. Christopher Luscombe directs the second of Shakespeare's matching pair of comedies that rejoice in our capacity to find love in the most unlikely places. Better known as Much Ado About Nothing, the play is performed under the title Love's Labour's Won, a name possibly attributed to it during Shakespeare's lifetime. Tickets are at €12, €10 and €8. Cast includes Julia Calvert, Paula Fleri-Soler, Faye Paris, Nicky Schembri, Becky D'Ugo and Steffi Thake. Directed by Nanette Brimmer. Part of the 'Mara: Perspettivi' event, running at Palazzo Pereira from March 5 to 22. TONIGHT AND MARCH 12-15; 19-22 Old Times Unifaun Theatre production of Harold Pinter's drama at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 20:00. Directed by Chris Gatt. SCREENING MARCH 18, 20, 29 Papusza Screening of the Polish film at St James Cavalier, Valletta. The film tells the true story of Papusza – the first Roma woman who put her poems into writing and published them, and therefore confronted the traditional female image in the gypsy community.
