Holland's work contains distinct experimental techniques which explore themes of aesthetics, identity and psychology. UNTIL JUNE 6 SixFiveSix Participants of the MFA in Digital Arts launch their annual exhibition, this time entitled SixFiveSix and taking place at Spazju Kreattiv (St James Cavalier) in Valletta from May 6 to June 6. THEATRE MAY 20-22 Marti Martek Martek Marti Stagun Teatru Malti's next production at the Manoel Theatre, Marti Martek, Martek Marti by Malcolm Galea (of Porn, The Musical fame) is a satirical theatrical romp that tackles the question without falling into the trap of needing to moralize the outcome. There are no hidden messages here, no deep intellectual exercises. Instead the production promises tongue in cheek naughty naughtiness. The characters are quintessentially Maltese, middle class, and 'liberated', jostling through hilarious, totally irreverent situations. Friday and Saturday performances start at 20:00. There are two performances on each Sunday, at 15:00 and 19:00. Prices for the first weekend are €10, €15 and €20 and €15, €20 and €25 for the second weekend. MAY 23 Beyond Representation – Spatiality in Game Studies and Game Design Public lecture at the Institute for Digital Games, University of Malta by Stephan Günzel at 19:00. Looking at the debates about the 'spatial turn' in cultural studies, the talk responds to the main antinomies in the present discourse and shows how Game Studies have contributed to it as well as how they rely on the respective paradoxes.
