Krav Maga Training offered the best instructors available for such an event. Their respective back- grounds apart from an extensive experience in Civilian and Mili- tary KravMaga varied from Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Military styles showing us the most effec- tive ways on how to handle aggres- sors in different situations, whilst exposing us to various stress con- ditions. Factoring in scorching heat and the altitude adjustment , the bootcamp was an unforget- table experience which challenged all the practitioners' determina- tion and perseverance. Chief Instructor Keith Galea commented, "aggressiveness was asked from all the practition- ers present and we can proudly say that this group from Malta has lived up to the expectations of the Bootcamp, even when the students inter-trained with oth- ers from different nationalities, our technique and application was impeccable. Through this exem- plary attitude, Krav Maga Train- ing, asked us to join their ranks and represent the school here in Malta. This is yet another mile- stone for KravMaga Malta, which has been the only official KravMa- ga school here in Malta since 2010. This experience will undoubt- edly pave the way for a greater KravMaga Malta , especially for the practitioners training as this is a further stepping stone in their development, more so, through this collaboration with Krav Maga Training in Italy. I thank all the squad for sacrificing time, money and energy to attend such an event, but the rewards were in- valuable especially on a personal level. " Krav Maga is a combat system developed in the middle of the last century to train the Israeli. It is based on a scientific and realistic approach to combat according to which, in a dangerous situation, the primary objectives are protec- tion of self and others and neu- tralization of an obstacle in the shortest time possible and with minimum physical effort. Nine practitioners under the care of Chief Instructor Keith Galea and his assistant Roman Repovas embarked on a three day International Krav Maga boot camp held in Bergamo Italy.
