Refalo Sixth Form in Victoria, Gozo. The activities in the cultural programme of the festival will be based on the themes of youth literature and poetry. PUBLIC TALK JULY 14 Bartering, trading, fundraising – You Are What You Buy Public Talk Public talk organised within the remit of the You Are What You Buy project, held at Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 19:00. The talk, delivered by art historian Silvia Simoncelli, is entitled 'Bartering, trading, fundraising: reconsidering art commodification and consumption' and will consider the practice of some artists, from Ed Keinholz to Chris Burden and beyond, who have developed strategies to circulate their works outside the mainstream flow of buying and selling, making trading systems the focus of their attention, and sometimes even challenging the law.
