maltatoday WEDNESDAY 20 DECEMBER 2017 17 Events Form celebrate their 70th anniversary Fourth Sahhtek seminar for Atlas clients FORM have just celebrated their 70 years in business with an event held at their show- room in Valley Road, Msida. The event was a wonderful combination of Form quality furniture, a tasting of premium Marsovin wines as well as an exhibition of Marc England's paintings. Together the blend of quality and taste was truly enjoyable. "Our 70th Anniversary was the perfect occasion to cel- ebrate what we've achieved so far but to also welcome a re- freshed look and feel for Form. Having just re-branded, we wanted to invite our clients and friends to show all the hard work we've been up to these past few months," said Julian Galea, Head of Sales at Form. "We are constantly striving to innovate and develop our brand both in terms of our im- age as well as our product offer- ing and we are very excited to welcome this new era of Form." Form's product portfolio to- day covers a diverse and ver- satile range of furniture and furnishings for all areas of the home and this is why they added the "Homemakers" to their logo. They also added the "since 1947" to emphasise their heritage. "We have been at this for a long time and a wealth of knowledge and experience has fortunately been passed down from generation to generation" Galea said. The presence of internation- ally recognised brands at Form such as Natuzzi Italia, Rimade- sio, Jesse, Euromobil, Dunlo- pillo as well as a number of upcoming and own brands is a commitment on their part to offer choices that are top qual- ity, value for money and a guar- antee of serious after sales ser- vice. "Our commitment to our customers is our top priority" Julian concluded. You can follow Form's story on Facebook and Instagram @ Form.Malta. ATLAS Insurance clients re- cently attended a seminar about obesity in Malta, organ- ised by Atlas and Saħħtek, the nationwide health and well- being study being carried out by the University of Malta. The talk was given by Sarah Cuschieri, the Saħħtek project co-ordinator and Assistant Lecturer with Master within the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, together with Julian Mamo, Head of the Public Health Department and Sen- ior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. Cuschieri and Mamo dis- cussed the common defi- nitions of obesity and the importance of seeking pro- fessional help before labelling yourself as 'obese'. They also discussed the sit- uation in Malta through the results of the Saħħtek study, as well as the causes and con- sequences of obesity, what health issues may arise from excess body fat and sugges- tions on what to do. "This collaboration with Saħħtek has given Atlas the opportunity to not only sup- port a reputable study, but al- so share the findings, as well as other useful lifestyle infor- mation with clients. We are very pleased that this series of talks have received such a positive response," said Cath- erine Calleja, Atlas Health- care Managing Director. The series of Saħħtek edu- cational seminars form part of Atlas' sponsorship of the Saħħtek study as well as the Atlas Wellness programme, which promotes a healthy lifestyle through various ini- tiatives for staff and clients. The previous talks covered diabetes related conditions and lifestyle choices, and ex- ercise. Saħħtek is a nationwide study being carried out to de- termine the proportion and number of persons suffering from diabetes, hypertension, lack of physical activity and obesity in Malta. The field- work all over Malta and Gozo has been completed, with the team now in the last stages of the laboratory work.
