Featuring a sto- rytelling session conducted by an Esplora presenter for children of ages 4-8. Taking place over to sessions: one at 14:00, the other at 16:00. JANUARY 13 Take Your Show to the Edinburgh Fringe Seminar organised by Ideas Alive at Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 10:30. The seminar will be giving prac- tical tips about the process of tak- ing your theatrical performance to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It will feature talks by Steve Hili and Malcolm Galea, both of whom have performed and produced shows at the fringe on numerous occasions. Cost of participation is only €40. FILM SCREENINGS JANUARY 10, 26 Cloudboy Screening of the Swedish film Cloudboy at the cinema of Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier, Val- letta at 19:30 (January 10) and 20:30 (January 26). The film is a coming-of-age story that follows the life of Niilas, a twelve year old boy who undertakes a journey to visit his mother and half-siblings in rural northern Sweden. The film forms part of Spazju Kreat- tiv's Children and Young Audi- ence Programme. BOOK LAUNCH DECEMBER 30 Erbgħin Jum Launch of the new illustrated book of poetry by Antoine Cassar, with art by Steven Scicluna. Tak- ing place at Studio Solipsis, Rabat from 19:00. The launch will also feature a live performance from Adolf Formosa, Alex Vella Gera and Mark Abela. Erbgħin Jum is published by Ede Books. Violinist Markus Hoffmann will be among the performers of the Valletta International Baroque Festival Malcolm Galea will be giving a seminar on taking your show to the Edinburgh Fringe.
