JULY 26-AUGUST 14 The Spaces That Connect Us The exhibition will take the form of a photographic ex- position and accompanying essay, showcasing the intri- cacies of life in Green Bank in 2018. JULY 25 Zayden Maltese playwright Tyrone Grima has written and direct- ed Zayden, to be performed at The Splendid in Valletta from 25 to 28 July. Written in Mal- tese, Zayden is about home- lessness in Malta. As a prob- lem that is not overtly evident on Maltese streets, Zayden challenges the misconcep- tion that homelessness is not an issue in the country. The show features a young man who was homeless for several years. The title role is inter- preted by Jacob Piccinino (Us/them), who leads the au- dience on a journey through his life as Zayden. In Zayden, we witness the adversity of homelessness through tales of real events.
