But behind these iconic images is an untold story, now revealed with gripping first- hand testimonies from eight surviving Apollo astronauts, including Apollo 11 Command Module pilot, Mike Collins, and those working in Houston's Mission Control and the Kennedy Space Center, Florida. This documentary deftly weaves together remarkable archive footage, much of which has been re-mastered, sifted from thousands of reels of forgotten film. It shows the audacious, historic mission of Apollo 11 in a startling new light. MONDAY Veep S7 Ep.01: "Iowa" [Drama Series] 9pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Selina tries desperately to arrange the perfect moment to announce her presidential campaign. Amy struggles with whether or not to keep her and Dan's baby. Jonah's campaign tries to deal with the revelation that his new wife is his stepsister. TUESDAY A Midnight Clear (1992) [Film] 8pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) In the winter of 1944, American soldiers led by Will Knott (Ethan Hawke) are assigned to capture a small squad of German soldiers posted in France's Ardennes forest. Tired of war, the Americans have already lost half their division and discover that their German enemy is equally unwilling to fight. With Jewish soldier Stan Shutzer (Arye Gross) interpreting, the Germans and Americans agree on a plan that will let the former surrender without violence – but then, tragedy strikes. WEDNESDAY Mr Deeds (2002) [Romantic Comedy Drama] 9pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Longfellow Deeds (Adam Sandler) is a sweet, lovable guy leading a simple but happy life in the tiny hamlet of Mandrake Falls, New Hampshire. Life is good at the small town restaurant until two corporate execs bring news that Deeds is about to be rolling in a different kind of dough. A long-lost relative has left him an inheritance of 40 billion dollars along with the largest media company in the world. It's a fish out of water, rags to riches story that has local tabloid reporters salivating. THURSDAY Dangerously Close (1986) [Film] 9.30pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Driven over the edge by drugs and crime at their high school, a group of straight-edge teenagers form a secret militia to war against wrongdoers. When several of the crooks wind up dead, the leader of the organisation (John Stockwell) is accused of their murders. FRIDAY Bob's Burgers [Animation Series] 8.50pm on FOX (Channel 302) The series follows Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and his ever-quirky family who together run the restaurant Bob's Burgers. In addition to its 2018 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Animated Program, the series has been nominated in the same category in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, having won the award twice, its first Emmy Award in 2014 and in 2017. This season, "Bob's Burgers", celebrates its milestone 150th episode, which also is the Season Nine premiere episode, "Just One of the Boyz 4 Now for Now." In the special musical episode, featuring four original songs, Tina (Dan Mintz) hunts down her "soulmate" at replacement auditions for her favourite boy band. SATURDAY Freedomland (2006) [Film] 10.20pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) A mother blames the disappearance of her child on a black man from the projects af ter she repor ts a carjacking. A detective (Samuel L. Jackson) suspects the woman is hiding something, and he enlists the aid of a missing- child activist (Edie Falco). While the investigation continues, the media amplifies the case's notoriet y, bringing up some tough racial issues. Her seemingly idyllic life takes a surprising turn when she discovers a hidden talent she didn't previously know she had – stand-up comedy. This revelation changes her life forever as she begins a journey that takes her from her comfor table life on the Upper West Side through the cafes and nightclubs of Greenwich Village as she makes her way through the cit y's comedy industr y on a path that could ultimately lead her to a spot on the "Tonight Show" couch. City 40 Netflix Cit y 40 documents the lives of the people in Ozyorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, code named "Cit y 40". The town is near Mayak, the bir thplace of the Soviet Union's nuclear weapons program as well as the location of the Kysht ym disaster. The people living there believe that they are saving the world.
