CENTURY 21 spreads its brand and philosophy around Malta EMIRATES has announced new executive leadership ap- pointments for its operational, commercial and international affairs functions. Adel Al Redha is appointed Chief Operating Officer, Ad- nan Kazim is Chief Commer- cial Officer and Sheikh Majid Al Mualla is Divisional Senior Vice President, International Affairs. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Adel Al Redha is at the helm of all operational de- partments: Flight Operations, Service Delivery, Airport Ser- vices, Emirates Engineering, Crew manpower, aircraft pro- curement and the Emirates Flight Training Academy; as well as worldwide network operations including crisis re- sponse. Al Redha will oversee opera- tional efficiency and effective- ness across the airline, and work closely with other mem- bers of the executive leader- ship team to drive improved performance across the busi- ness. During his 31-year career with Emirates, Al Redha has been instrumental in leading and implementing Emirates' global strategy to consistently deliver superior services and customer experiences, on the ground and in the air. He has enhanced operational processes, capabilities and ef- ficiencies within the airline; including the introduction of smart initiatives using ad- vanced technology and artifi- cial intelligence. Al Redha has also led the in- troduction of various National Development programmes that provide career develop- ment for UAE national youth, and continues to drive im- provements in the working environment for all staff while keeping safety and standards at the core of all operations. In his role as Chief Commer- cial Officer (CCO), Adnan Ka- zim is responsible for world- wide Commercial Operations, e-Commerce, the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme and Emirates SkyCargo. Kazim will continue to lead the airline's Strategic Planning and Revenue Optimisation teams, which are critical func- tions that support the airline's commercial success. Kazim joined Emirates in 1992 as a Management Train- ee and has successfully led the airline's commercial opera- tions in major markets such as the UAE, Switzerland, Paki- stan and East Africa. He then transitioned into leadership roles in route and fleet planning, and govern- mental relations. He most recently held the role of Divisional Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning, Revenue Optimisation & Aer- opolitical Affairs. Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, who previously held the position of Divisional Senior Vice Presi- dent, Commercial Opera- tions-Centre, is appointed Di- visional Senior Vice President, International Affairs. In his new role, Sheikh Majid will drive the airline's govern- ment, industry, public policy, regulatory, environment and international affairs agenda. He will also lead teams that represent Emirates in gov- ernment negotiations and air services talks, as well as vari- ous aviation industry bodies of which Emirates is a member.
