SMSMondial Cruises 2020: The world is your oyster … it's time to indulge THE Sailor Jerry Cocktail Competi- tion was held on 17 September as part of a series of five competitions held throughout the year. This event was co-hosted by the Mal- tese Bartenders Guild, a non-political, non-union and a non-governmental organisation committed to enhancing the bartending skills that make up an integral part of Malta's tourism indus- try. Five members of InterContinen- tal Malta Bars Team took part in this competition and won the top żfive po- sitions. Five unique cocktails were created specifically for the night, using the fin- est ingredients, with Sailor Jerry as a compulsory component. Zdravko Mitev took top honours, with Aleksa Stojnic finishing in second place, Aleksandar Zivadinovic in third, Andi Bejkollari in fourth and Daniele Russo in fifth. Rodney Pisani, Food and Beverage Manager at InterContinental Malta said he was very proud of his team. "All members are passionate, crea- tive and always looking at making the most novel drinks and cocktails for our guests to experience," he said. "In addition to showcasing their tal- ent, such competitions are a great op- portunity to watch the team compete as one, as brothers, working stronger together."
