21 COMMERCIAL maltatoday | SUNDAY • 15 DECEMBER 2019 15 DEX is now Vivendo Workspaces DEX Workspaces is changing its name to Vivendo Work- spaces. The new showroom will open on Thursday 28th November with an after-work networking evening. DEX Workspaces is the trusted name in workspace and office solutions, and the change doesn't come lightly. The new name brings the business unit closer to the Vivendo family of brands, completing Malta's most ad- vanced offering across work- spaces, hospitality, and well- ness. Vivendo has moved on from selling beautiful furniture to creating customised work- spaces. The name change is the last step to ensure that that the B2B division in work- spaces provides an even better experience for the consum- er looking for an all-in-one workspace solution. Vivendo's commitment to their customers remains the same. The revamp of the showroom allows all archi- tects and design professionals to use the workspace models for their meetings and creates a holistic experience where clients can sample different textures and products first- hand. There is an Acous- tics Room to showcase their sound-absorbing features, and an Auditorium, with steppe-like seating and audio- visual facilities. The showroom provides a shop-in-shop home display of brands Technogym and Vitra to inspire architects and designers. Furthermore, Vivendo has expanded their range of customised furniture to showcase how different de- signs can be adapted to suit multiple needs and configu- rations. CEO Chris Gauci said: 'We do not believe in standing still, and letting innovation happen on its own; we believe in making that innovation happen ourselves." A quick look on Trip Advi- sor both locally and interna- tionally goes to show that the culinary world has been in- creasing in its popularity. Eat- eries are mushrooming eve- rywhere, from the main cities to the little rural villages in the middle of nowhere. New concepts have been surfacing, keeping the foodie and the gastronome asking for more while serving neo cuisines, an eclectic fusion of ingredients and the most Instagrammable interiors. The de Mondion Restaurant, perched on centuries old bas- tions in the medieval city of Mdina, within The Xara Pal- ace Relais & Chateaux, has been rated amongst Malta's top restaurants for the past two decades. Our team works incessantly to keep the level improving and year after year the de Mondion is visited by international celebrities, world leading business own- ers and those who love the fine side of life. This is what brought the de Mondion to rank in the top 1000 Restaurants in the World. Ranking with restau- rants from New York, Lon- don, Paris and Hong Kong, the de Mondion was the only restaurant in Malta that made it to this list published by La Liste. Based on the compilation of 715 guidebooks from 195 countries and millions of on- line reviews, La Liste offers the best global restaurant selec- tion handpicked by discerning food critics and expert guides. FOR the Holiday 2019 Collec- tion, Lucia Pica* found inspira- tion in one of Gabrielle Chanel's particular – and perhaps unex- pected – penchants: her love of ornaments. After all, while Mademoiselle Chanel famously pioneered a "less is more" ap- proach to elegance, she was equally fascinated by aesthetic opulence: by the deep lacquer of Chinese Coromandel screens, or the shimmering gold leaf that decorated her apartment. Now her paradoxical proclivi- ties are reflected through LES ORNEMENTS DE CHANEL, which showcases festive gran- deur for the modern age. Within Lucia Pica's vision for the collection, a statement smoky eye or a glossy, lustrous lip appears set against a fresh, luminous complexion, and the contemporary contrast be- tween indulgent splendor and refined minimalism is gleefully indulged. "The woman I imag- ine using this collection is com- pletely CHANEL," reflects Lu- cia Pica. "She's seeking timeless simplicity, but she also loves richness and glamour, moder- nity and grandeur. An exclusive range of ROUGE ALLURE limited-edition pack- aging and powders whose sur- face have been ornately en- graved with a vintage CHANEL button, mirror that desire for abundance. "I wanted to ex- press the idea of richness that particularly fits with the festive time of year – but a mastered and modern richness," explains Lucia Pica. At once gleamingly contemporary and imbued with the house history, each of her products appears quintessen- tially CHANEL.
