aħbarijiet 03 IL-ĦADD 18 TA' ĠUNJU 2023 • illum Il-pajjiż għaddej minn kriżi kbira – Tony Zahra 03 MATTHEW FARRUGIA L-ewwel problema li ġiet innutata mill-MHRA għandha x'taqsam mal-indafa fil-pajjiż, fejn ġie nnutat li minħabba ż-żieda fil-popolazzjoni marbuta mat- turisti u l-ħaddiema barranin, hemm bżonn ta' aktar azzjoni b'risq l-indafa. "Malta saret maħmuġa," tgħid l-MHRA fl-istqarrija, hekk kif innutat li dan huwa inaċċettabbli jekk il-Gvern jixtieq li pajjiżna jibqa' destinazzjoni turistika. Għalhekk, l-assoċjazzjoni appellat għal azzjoni urġenti b'mod speċjali sabiex tiġi mħarsa l-indafa tal- bajjiet, l-ibħra u t-toroq fost l-oħrajn. It-tieni problema kellha x'taqsam max-xogħolijiet marbuta mal-kostruzzjoni u l-infrastruttura, liema xogħolijiet skont l-MHRA, "qed jagħmlu lil Malta sit ta' kostruzzjoni permanenti." Huma kkumentaw fuq in-nuqqas ta' koordinazzjoni u pjanar, li qed iwasslu għal kaos u traffiku kullimkien. "Malta waslet f 'punt fejn ebda lokalità jew triq m'hi ħielsa minn kostruzzjoni li tħalli warajha storbju, trab u kruha estetika," tistqar l-MHRA. It-tielet problema hija dik tal- infrastruttura tal-enerġija, hekk kif l-MHRA stqarret li meta fl- aħħar jiem għoliet it-temperatura ta' Malta u beda jinqata' d-dawl f 'numru ta' lokalitajiet, is-settur tar-ristoranti u l-lukandi ħa daqqa kbira. L-assoċjazzjoni qalet li bosta mill-membri tagħha kellhom jarmu l-ikel u sofrew minn ħsarat f 'apparat, liema ħsarat jammontaw għall-eluf ta' ewro. Apparti dan, l-MHRA innutat li kien hemm turisti li sabu ruħhom bla dawl fil-kmamar tagħhom, filwaqt li oħrajn ikkanċellaw ir- riżervazzjonijiet tagħhom, filwaqt li pajjiżna sofra minn ħsara fir- reputazzjoni tiegħu. Tony Zahra tkellem dwar ir-rapport li kkummissjonat l-MHRA dwar is-settur turistiku Malti lura fl-2022. Dan ir-rapport kien jgħid li sabiex 80% tas-sodod fil-lukandi eżistenti u anke dawk li għadhom qed jinbnew jintużaw mit-turisti, pajjiżna għandu bżonn 4.7 miljun turist fis-sena, li huwa aktar mid-doppju tar-rekord ta' turisti f 'pajjiżna. Zahra spjega wkoll li r-rapport kien wera wkoll problemi oħra fis-settur tat-turiżmu, fosthom li s-settur turistiku tal-lum il- ġurnata diġa' qed joħloq problemi fuq l-infrastruttura tad-drenaġġ, u jekk in-numru ta' turisti fis-sena jkompli jiżdied, dawn il-problemi se jigravaw. Fil-fatt, huwa nnota li f 'ċertu postijiet bħal Buġibba u San Pawl il-Baħar, is-sitwazzjoni tad- drenaġġ diġa qiegħda fi stat ħażin minħabba l-ammont kbir ta' nies li jgħixu f 'din iż-żona, b'mod speċjali fi żmien is-sajf. "Il-Gvern m'għamel xejn," stqarr Zahra, filwaqt li nnota li minkejja li dan ir-rapport ilu li ġie ppubblikat minn Settembru li għadda, il- Gvern ma ħax azzjoni biex jindirizza l-problemi msemmijin fir-rapport. Huwa ġab eżempju mis-settur turistiku fl-Isvizzera, hekk kif stqarr li minkejja l-kobor ta' dan il-pajjiż, il-Gvern t'hemm ma jippermettix li jinħarġu permessi biex jaħdmu mingħajr pjan, u minħabba f 'hekk, is-settur turistiku tal-Iżvizzera ma jiddependix fuq il-kwantità ta' turisti, iżda jiddependi fuq il- kwalità. aħbarijiet 03 03 aħbarijiet 03 03 IL-ĦADD 23 TA' LULJU 2023 • illum aħbarijiet IL-ĦADD 30 TA' LULJU 2023 • illum Tony Zahra huwa l-President tal-MHRA u f 'kummenti mal-ILLUM, esprima d-diżappunt tiegħu dwar in-nuqqas t'azzjoni mill-Gvern fil- konfront tal-problemi fis-settur turistiku www.pa.org.mt PLANNING AUTHORITY The role enquires the selected candidate to provide hardware and software support; for the effective, reliable and secure operation of the hardware, software and systems on the Authority's network.
