The re-enactment portrays the inspection of the St John's Cavalier in the town of Birgu and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St John in charge of military affairs. Tickets are at €7 (adults), €3 (children and students) and can be bought at the door. Zejt iz-Zejtun Second day of the two-day village event in MUSIC & NIGHTLIFE OCTOBER 4 The Shh Indie rock duo The Shh will perform at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida at 21:00. Entrance is at €4. OCTOBER 5 Band Tees and Panties Indie/alternative rock party at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida from 21:00. David Darmanin and Gail Banavage will be resident DJs on the night. OCTOBER 11 Hey Sus! and The Velts The two indie bands will be performing at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida. Tickets are at €4. Doors open at 21:00. OCTOBER 12 Spots & Stripes Alternative music party at The Black Pearl, Ta' Xbiex. Resident DJs on the night will be G is for Gustav and Bob. Entrance is at €5. Doors open at 22:30. Zejtun celebrating local olive oil produce. An exhibition of agricultural tools, agricultural products and folk art will deck the village in traditional attire that will come alive in a celebration of colour, music, movement and food. Pride of place will be given to the olive tree. Maltese ftajjar and bread dressed in freshly pressed olive oil will be distributed for free tasting. In the morning, the Parish will organise the traditional blessing of horses, cattle and pets. This will take place after the planting of trees by children who would have, this year, received their Confirmation. Religious feasts The feasts of St Gregory (Sliema) and St Michael (Zabbar) will be held today. Caritas Trail Hike in aid of people in need from 10:00. Commencing with a 40-minute walk from Mdina Road, Zebbug, near St Dorothy's School and the 30-minute jog and 60-minute cycle will commence at St Mary Magdalene Chapel on Dingli Cliffs. All events end at San Blas where Caritas has one of its major drug rehabilitation centres. OCTOBER 2 Will Love Tear Us Apart – Exhibition opening and Artist Talk Artist Talk at St James Cavalier, Valletta by the team behind the locally-produced and internationally acclaimed video game 'Will Love Tear Us Apart' from 20:00. The team behind the Joy Division-inspired game will speak about the game's genesis, design challenges that we came across and the wider repercussions of such challenges to the relationship between games and art.
