Off a cross by Cohen, Edison Luis dos Santos headed the ball past Farrugia. On the 67th minute, Hibernians practically secured their victory when Rodolfo scored with a brilliant header after receiving a cross for Clayton Failla. Qormi managed to score a consolation goal on the 86th minute. Leaighton Grech served Jorge Pereira da Silva who then had his shot beat goalkeeper Mario Muscat. Edison Luis Dos Santos was voted BOV Player of the Match. Tarxien Rainbows ....3 Balzan .....................1 Tarxien Rainbows returned to winning ways after they defeated Balzan 3-1. Tarxien had to wait till the 39th minute before they took the lead. When Everton Souza Santos had his cross handled by a Balzan defender, the referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot. Ronaille Calheira Seara converted to give his team the lead. Tarxien doubled their lead on the 56th minute. Carlo Mamo beat goalkeeper Daniel Miguelez Martinez with his shot. Balzan managed to reduce the gap on the 62nd minute. A shot by Lydon Micallef was partially saved by goalkeeper Nicky Vella and off the rebound, Jose Luis Armario Negrin found the back of the net with his shot. Tarxien's Ronaille Calheira Seara made the final score 3-1 when he scored on the 90th minute. Everton Souza Santos was voted BOV Player of the Match.
